The past two weeks or so have seen me traveling across the country (with an unplanned overnight stop in Chicago), moving into a new apartment only to depart less than 48 hours later for a most fantastic weekend in San Francisco at Socialism 2009, and then returning in time to pick up my two cats--quite miffed but otherwise intact--from the cargo terminal at LAX. (Elf shukran, Pauline, for your help at the last minute with that!)
Suffice to say I have not had time to blog about Israel's kidnapping on the high seas and imprisonment of the activists aboard the Spirit of Humanity, or the scenes from the Rafah border on the three days last month it was officially "open," or the military coup in Honduras, or marching in NYC Gay Pride on the 40th anniversary of Stonewall. Don't worry. All that is coming...
