Perhaps you have heard about Ethan McNamee, the 9-year-old who organized a rally for gay marriage on the steps of the Denver state capitol building? No? Well, here is his unbelievably adorable story.
Props to Ethan's mom, for believing that it's never too early to teach your kids that everyone is equal, including the lesbian couple in your neighborhood.
Props to his teacher Kyle Kimmal, for taking a third-grader seriously when he said he wanted to organize a demonstration at the capitol building for his independent study project.
And Ethan, props to you, for displaying more sense and compassion than approximately 46% of America.
And as for that state senator who said that when you get older, you may "understand the issue is a little more complicated"...may you never, ever believe him.
